Hey there! I have been using a few different lash growth products over the past 2 years.
My first experience was with the original formulation of Enormous Lash(by Intuit Beauty), this stuff was AMAZING!!! I never dreamed my own lashes could grow like that! Sadly, like many of the products out at that time they were forced to "reformulate" due to the pending law suit with Allergan. As I understand it, they next generation of products were not very good  .
My next attempt was with a product called Lilash. I did experience growth with this product, and was pleased with the results. However, I must admit that I felt it was a "step down" from Enormous Lash.
On my quest for "amazing lashes" I decided to give Latisse a try....
I had been following a lot of reviews and post on utube, and was very impressed with what I saw. I know this product did wonders for many people; sadly, I was not one of them  .
I did follow the advise of many people who were posting. They recommend that you place one drop in the top of the cap and use a smaller brush to apply. This cuts down on the waste of the product, and you can make one bottle last months! ~Great tip :D . The product claims that you should see results in 8 - 10 weeks, with the full results being evident by week 16. I am now at week 15 and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! Truthfully I think my lashes look worse than when I started. Right when I think I might be seeing results, they begin falling out. I have several "bald" spots and short lashes (it almost looks like breakage ).
There are a few long lashes, but even those look out of place compared to the majority of my lashes. I have also experienced strange growth patterns with my lashes. ~Some curling the wrong direction, some so straight they wont curl with a lash curler. :?
I still have product left in the bottle but I think I'm done with Latisse! Who knows, maybe once I stop using it my lashes will start to grow.

Cyn, I'm sorry you haven't had success with Latisse. It has worked wonders for me. You mentioned you had bald spots, I did too which lead me to a dermatologist to prescribe Latisse for me, as it turned out I have Alopecia in my lashes which caused my embarassing bald spots rather than the stress I thought it was. Its possible Latisse is too strong for your situation but Is it possible you could also have Alopecia that affects the lashes? Please check with your Dr.

The time frame Latisse mentions is only a guide, for some people it takes less time to see results & for others it takes more. I saw slight results in 3 weeks & other people haven't seen results until 14 or 15 weeks. Good luck I hope you get the desired results you're seeking.

Well, I only experienced the bald spots after using Latisse. I've never had that happen with the other two products I've used. I think that sometimes certain things work well for some and not others.
I am glad you are having such a great result with Latisse.
I'll keep searching.

Good luck I hope you find something soon that works for you. Latisse could be drying out your lashes. A friend told me that she puts a little Olive Oil on her lashes each night & that makes them look & feel moisturized. I have recently started doing that as well & my lashes look healthier.

this is my 2nd day for using Latisse. I followed the instructions watched the video online but i do not feel any liquid or wetness when I apply it. Also my brushes are not tapered as in the video. This is to expensive to waste and I feel nothing is being applied. I feel the drop on the brush vanished before it was applied to my eye. Does anyone have any tips

I used Latisse and loved it for 6 months but was constantly concerned by the dry, red eyes, itchiness, puffy eyelids and chance of eye color change. (Green eyes.) I stopped use and for a few months my eyelashes were still long but they lessened slowly, as if on a diet.....now - maybe three months later.....my eyelashes are almost invisible. They are less than short, almost non-existent. This was not the case before. Before use, I had nice eyelashes but not the remarkable ones that Latisse can give. Now, after stopping, I have bald patches and eyelashes that barely hold onto mascara.

I just started using Talika to repair them. NO side effects at all. Safe enough to use while pregnant.

Does anyone know if this is standard? Will they eventually grow back when I finish this cycle?

Why is this not stated as a potential side effect following the cessation of the product. The materials all say - return to baseline eyelash growth.

Had I known, I would have been happy with what I had. I know look about 5 years older at least and feel vain and foolish for risking the health of my eyes and for not appreciating normal/nice eyelashes.

Thanks for anyone who can respond about the.....Is this normal/standard part and if ultimately they will grow back.
